*Previously a paid tutor for University of MO - Columbia 2005-2007 *Full time 10th grade Chemistry and 9th grade Physical Science teacher for Moberly Public School District 2007-2008 *WyzAnt online tutor and private in home tutoring 2008-2009 *Substitute teacher for Fox, Lindbergh, Windsor school districts 2008-2009. *Completed all but the final course, a full semester of student teaching for my Secondary Science Education degree (decided to finish Geology degree instead but completed all other education courses as well). *From 2009 to 2015, I have been a research scientist. I spent some time in pharmaceuticals for BioMerieux, quality control for Procter & Gamble, analytical chemistry lab tech for TestAmerica, and the last 3.5 years as a Research Biologist and Application Support Specialist in IT for Monsanto. I want to be home more with my 4 year old instead of always working overtime in the lab or on a computer. I have been the top volunteer for Science Education Outreach at Monsanto for the last two years and I have the plaques to prove it. I have a genuine passion for teaching science to all ages and it is one of my greatest joys. I can break it down into simple terms whether you are a college student or a 2nd grader. I love science. And whether you love science or not, I would love the opportunity to help you understand it.
