Experience
I want to be a tutor because I enjoy explaining things and helping others. Education has always been really important to me. I have a lot of experience tutoring. I worked as a volunteer tutor when I was in high school and tutored math to immigrant teenagers at the International Institute. When I was in college, I worked as a tutor for economics and statistics in the Economic Resource Center. After I graduated, I worked as an English tutor for the children of several Korean families living in St. Louis. Some of my credentials are that I graduated with a 3.6 GPA and when I was in college I received the following awards/scholarships: UMSL Merit-based University Scholarship, Honors College Merit Scholarship, Honors College Residential Scholarship, Residential Life’s Residential Community Scholarship, Center for International Studies Scholarship, Elizabeth Clayton Memorial Scholarship for Economics, Graduate Assistantship for Economics, Academic Performance Award for Economics If you have any more questions about my background, please ask :-)
